I feel the same way right now :\ Life spins wildly out of your grasp sometimes and you tend to turn on the things that help anchor you as if going completely adrift is some how better.

When Im depressed I turn on friends, family, and stop eating drinking and working out when those are the things I should be focusing on.

You start worrying about the things that are impossible to redefine to reshape. Or, if they are able to change, they take too long to do anything more than minor adjustments to help change its destination.

In my case I got it from losing a best friend. When I got a new person to do the same things with it was all good again...being alone makes you doubt your decisions and actions and sometimes a good friend can reinforce everything to where its all good again.

Maybe try to find a new circle of friends?

I just got out of a funk similar to this about a week ago... and had it not been for my mother's advice, I'd still be in a funk.

Get ahold of a calcium supplement that includes zinc and magnesium. (I got a bottle from Costco.) Then, get ahold of a daily vitamin supplement. (I also got those from Costco.) Take one of each once a day for the next few days... and eat a banana each day. There's a shitload of potassium in bananas.

Something about the mix of the calcium, zinc, magnesium, potassium, and vitamins fucks with your brain. It won't necessarily make you happy but it caused me to fall into this weird groove where a lot of the things that were bugging me just... stopped. I've been maintaining that ever since. To be completely honest, I'm afraid to stop because in the back of my mind I know that things are completely fucked up right now and I just don't want to face it.

Either way, you're just depressed. If this has lasted or continues for a long time, seek help. All jokes aside, we all feel like that sometimes, but usually people get out of it.
