BOC have a weird and fun style but their last cd, while good, was so redundant i couldnt listen to it more than a few times without getting sick of it

I think Dayvan Cowboy is playing on their MySp page ....nice sound, but for some-odd reason, I cant get with the vocals they are coming w/ .....waaaay too high pitched for me

Unfortunately BOC are at the stage where they are releasing by far their worst material. They'll do well to come back from this - never to scale the heights of Music Has The Right To Children or even Geogaddi again.

Looking forward to hearing this. I just bought "Campfire Headphase" after previewing it and reading reviews on it, it seemed like a good CD. I've listened to it a few times and I am still trying to get into it. It seems like good background music though, but I don't think it's the type of CD I can put on and listen to all the time. I was kind of expecting stuff similar to Ulrich Schnauss, but Boards Of Canada is much more experimental. I prefer Ulrich Schnauss though, I can enjoy his stuff all the time and it's just fun to listen to...chill to. Just more melodic. I just have to get used to BoC.

My Brother more then 90% of the time is listening to Boards of Canada. When he heard that they were releasing a new album he went nuts.
