Going through a serious Alice Deejay withdraw and desperately looking for more "quick fix" euphoric trance, I was recomended to ATB.

Involver and Heaven should never be in the same list.

I can't seem to understand what the problem is... if it were written by TA's, it would probably be material for a 50-page thread arguing whether Rank 1 and Armin should be there, for example.
I consider most tunes I've heard from Ian Van Dahl, Alice Deejay and ATB to be trance anyway.

it is pretty funny
the charts on that dance paradise website are very similar, mixing popular tunes and the more artsy stuff. I don't think it is as active as it used to be but dance paradise used to be THE site I went to when I needed tracklists for trance sets I would hear.
It seems stuff like alice deejay mixes with the more respected form of trance quite often, despite most of us not liking that.

According to The History Of Trance in that list, trance began in '96. Hmmm... I guess I'll have to re-catagorize my Dance 2 Trance music. Would space techno suffice?
I'm soooo grateful Dance 2 Trance was my gateway group.
