The opening synth doesn't really catch me ...try something with a little more hook in it. A different sound.

The hihats arent really working either...needs some variation in the hits.
I mean, you have the right idea here...adding components and harmonic musical ideas being layered and stuff... it just doesnt really come together as a whole because of the instrumentation (IMO).

The melody might be workable, I'd just change the synths. What do you use? I suggest a richer sounding synth or synths with better pads to add some thickness to this as well as altering your patches. They sound a bit too "general midi" if you follow me.

And don't be afraid of adding some reverb either!

Will catch ya later!

thanks for the feedback!
I'm using superwave and minimoog primarily for my synths. They sound the best IMO, and are superflexible. I'm using LFX as my primary sound processor. and fruity loops is my sequencer. If you have any other soft synths that u think i may like then give me the names and i'll check 'em out.
