So, this may be common knowledge by now, but hell, I've never had a reason to ask... what the hell does Boy George even spin?
Here's a reveiw of a recent show in July
Date: Friday July 1st, 2005
Review: ...this was one show not to be missed...
Being a big show such as this we decided it'd be a good idea to try and arrive early and at 11:30pm it seemed like the perfect time to avoid a huge lineup. Security at this time was nice and organized and we entered without a problem. Once inside we noticed something a little out of the ordinary!
Stage was set up on the side of the stage and music quality was out of this world. Having travelled to some of the largest clubs around the world, this was obviously a high-end production thrown by a top-notch promotion company. Within half an hour later the place was packed with happy go lucky good looking people and Leanne was warming everyone up with a pretty rocking funky electro house set.
As Mark Vedo took the stage he kept the tempo going with fresh electro tracks and made us sweat bullets in a nicely air-conditioned club. Again it's worth mentioning that the stage set-up with lights and sound quality were freakin unbelieveable and crystal clear bass was pumping into every corner of the club.
Next up the man himself Boy George took on the reigns and showed us that his 20+ years of DJ'ing have lead him to know what it takes to keep the crowd floored. Track after track everyone was going crazy and the best dancers were strutting their moves. As always when you're having the best time hearing music you can never get enough of, time flew by and lights were flickered on as if a knife to a heart.
Conclusion: This was one show that was not to be missed. Although Boy George was here last year, this time around a lot more money was put into the venue with an incredible stage and sound set up ready to rival the biggest club cities in the world.
