my friend calls me up friday night and she tells me there's a pretty big name dj spinnin at masquerade that night (she listens to indie rock btw) and that her friend set it up. i didnt think anything of it until she told me it was paul sparkes. ok, now i know i aint a freakin genius but if you're goin to spend a shitload of your money to bring dude from ministry of sound over here, you might want to do some promoting. considering one post on ta could potentially increase the crowd amount substantially given enough time. his sets are sick but i heard only 30 people (maybe)showed up and that paul was pissed. not to mention the benefit over at amp where i heard a lot of people were. i'm pretty sure plenty of ta's wouldnt mind doin the word of mouth thing to get a crowd going. just common sense
