I don't know why everyone made such a big deal about Vangaurds sound system, cuz I'm sorry, but it SUCKED. The speakers in my car are louder than that. When Hernan was on, I could hear people's convo's from like 5 ft away... that's not a good sign. But when Fergie came on, they put the volume up all of the sudden.

Hernan wasn't at his best at all, but he played a few very very very sick dirty/electro tracks. He is (was) on my top 5, but he was ALOT better the last couple of times I saw him. I was expecting more from him. They should have had the music louder when he was playing... it would have sounded better, and we could've actually felt the music more.

Fergie plays the cheesiest garbage ever, no offense. He is probably on Judge Jules scale. (i hope he isn't reading this lol). He's f*cking HOT, but his music sucks.

Maybe if I didn't have a cold, I would have enjoyed myself more... I dunno.

I just got home.
When I got to the Vangard I was not on the list but thank God this girl Name Amy helped Julia, Simon and I out to get in. Once inside It was sad to see that the best sound system in La was not used too its potential. Like Julia said it was turned down very low for Hernan and the bass was missing.

Hernan's set was ok... He played a few tracks I liked since they had a more "trancy" sound behind them. And his last hour was a lot better then his first. For the first hour he was a little slow.
After Hernan was done it was Furgie's turn. All of a sudden the sound got a lot louder and there was 5x's more bass. Too bad the music was just noise (CRAP) So it was time to go home. Long day in head of me tommrow.

After Hernan was done Julia and I went to the back of the Stage and Hernan looked really annoyed by something. Now sure what...
There where also these 3 chicks that where Bad groupies! BAD BAD groupies. They where all over Furgie like a vulture on fresh road kill. Once he got to excape from the madness these girls tryed soooo hard to get on the stage. It was really sad and funny to watch at the same time!

There where a lot of TA's there.
Carrie, Julia, Wally, Leon, Hotdog water, Frenchcost, Austin Scott, Curly, Simon.. And I heard Tejpatel was there as well!
Over all my firends made the night.

I am still cracking up over how bad Curly got buuuurrrrrnnned!!! OUCH!

i made it there but not until late, like 2:30, so i missed hernan, fergie was on and i had just come from clockwork orange so i was just thankful to hear some edm. i saw hotdogwater but no one else. that's okay, i hope to see tons today. it's 8am and i need to go to sleep to be ready for today. i danced alot (big surprise) but fergie was making me mad b/c he had such build up and then wouldn't drop when the crowd wanted it, and then like 2 minutes later he would but it was too late, everyone kept looking around at each other like what the f@#k? oh well, i still had fun with the people around me. i didn't even think i was going to make it over there anyways, so glad the guys i were with wanted to go as well. okay, sleep time so as to be ready for tonight!

The whole list situation last night sucked. I saw JC inside and gave him shit about it. I am glad that chick Amy let you guys in, she was kind of bitchy when I first walked up. But I guess she was cool after all. Sorry i couldnt get Danny to let more peeps in.


When Michelle, Julia and I first saw Hernan setting up, I was like WTF he looks all tore up. His hair was all greased out and he had some faded dingy blue shirt on, with a pack of cigarettes in his front pocket. I had to have Julia point him out cause I was in disbelief it was him. He looked like a damn rodee who had been up for a week.


So um yeah, the sound system was way too low. I don’t know why they had it so low, but it really disappointed me. Maybe they turned it down because peeps on here complain that it is too loud. Or it could be that I am finally going deaf from all the loud music I play in my car. It’s all gone Pete Tong.


So now for the great part of the night. I enjoyed mostly hanging out with TEJ, Leon, Michelle, Julia, Simon, Keith, Curly, Bjorn, and Adriana LATAs always make my night worth going out. See you at Nocturnal
