Have you guys ever been there? I haven't been in YEARS...and I really wanted to go! So my friend Laura and I made the trip up to Cambridge yesterday to check it out! Along the way we picked up TOTAs very own Cale and Dan and made our way to the Safari. It was great times. The baboons were going NUTS for my van. At one point I think we had like 10 monkeys on my van...no word of a lie! IF you haven't been to the Safari, you need to go! Definatly worth the money...it was AWESOME!

That night we got a little tipsy as well...a few house parties...went out to a bar for a bit, where I kicked Cale's ass in basketball...and then proceeded to continue the house party until 6 in the morning. Dan unfortunatly didn't make it up that late...instead he thought it would be a great idea if he woke up rolled up in a carpet.

Ha! We went to the zoo for the 1st time today too! Was talking about African Lion Safari (as to whether we should go)- looks like we should!!!

I rolled Dan up in some spare carpet from when we re-carpeted our livingroom, dragged him out into my rec room, and we were elbowdropping him and powerbombing him.

That was frickin hilarious...I took part in the rolling up of Dan, but not the elbowdropping!! Don't worry, no one was hurt in the process.
The best though was afterwards when Dan kinda woke up and stumbled
around and Brant was like
"Hey Dan...how awesome would it be if you woke up rolled up in a carpet? Want to do that?"

You really should! They close next weekend for the season though. Recommendation...go during off season! You save a few bucks

That was such a friggin awesome weekend Lisa!! I had so much fun! So glad you made it down and we finally got to hang out and get loaded together! hhahhaa!

African Lion Safari was fackin awesome!! I totally didnt know what to expect and it was amazing! Cale was saying, its friggin surreal seeing all those animals because its like 15minutes from our house! We first watched some elephants bathing in some water, and lisa taking a picture of a dog, when theres ELEPHANTS right beside us! hahaha! We drove thur the lion part and one of the lions walked right up to the car almost, like 2 metres away! It was fackin amazing and kinda scary for abit at the same time cause he walked like right for our car haha. Seeing that thing upclose was so surreal, its sooo big and massive MASSIVE paws!

The monkeys going on the car was some of the most hilarious shit i've ever seen and something i'll remember forever! This one monkey took a light cover off a car in front of us, then walked with the car trying to rip more shit off hahahha! friggin gold!! It climed up and was chilling on the side mirror, trying to eat some rubber stuff on the edge of the window lol! In like every part, there was always some animals getting it on, which we always stopped to laugh at LOL!! the ostrage pecking at the window looked PISSED! lol!!

We also checked out an elephant show which was awesome! they are super smart and it was awesome to watch!! Then we saw a girl who looked like she was 9 years old in a friggin stroller LOL! wtf is up with that!?? haha! We also got on this train to ride around the place, which was hard for me and cale to fit, and fackin hilarious! Cale "wow, look at all that dirt and rocks, amazing" LOL!! Then the lady driving the train saying something about naked, then us "did she just say something was naked? " hahaha!




Lisa being a bad ass not obeying the signs, then cale saying right after "I KNEW someone was goign to do that!" lol!



We checked out some birds and stuff after that, then went to the "petting" zoo which you cant even get in! Lisa was pissed! she had to pet a goat from over the fence, but she did still get to pet it LOL!! We left and went to go eat at a place. The entire day was just so amazing. I honestly had so much fun!! We gotta go everyyear!

So we left and went to eat at mongolian grill, where lisa got the biggest friggin bowl of food ever, dripping all over the floor, and cale spicing his shit up massive like i've never seen haha! suddenly we realize the booth were sitting in, and the booths around are inside a cutout of half a school bus. then cale breaks out the magic school bus song, which i still have in my fackin head! thanks alot bioch! haha! we went and screwed around in a super pet store for awhile, then booked it to get booze i had at my house for myself, then to the LCBO.

I come out of the LCBO with a bottle of something. everyones asks what i have, i say dont worry about it, they keep persisting, then i bring out a bottle of Alize LOL!! gangsta shit YO! hahaha! i wanted to try it, see what the hype was about, but its just meh lol!

We get to cales, chill out, then decide to start drinking. we got some drinks in us, some of cales friends showed up, then we went to mine and cales friends house, and the real drinking started. Lisa is hilarious drunk! we all got pretty loaded before we even went out! Then we went to dooleys where i drank way to much beer and got pretty fackin hammered, as well as everyone else. Then i remember were in some pizza place, lisa jumps on me to give a hug or something, and we SLAM into the counter and glass! LOL!! i wish i remembered more haha! so much hilarious shit went down with everyone.

We leave dooleys and go back to cales for even more drinking. lots of stuff happend, i dont remember to much, and i passed out lol. I wake up in the morning, rolled up in a carpet, wondering wtf am i doing in this carpet hahaha! apparently i passed out on cales bed, was told to get in a carpet they layed out, which i thought was a good idea for some reason lol!! then they rolled me up, dragged me out to the other room, where i woke up hahaha!



It was such a fackin awesome day and night. So glad you adn your friend came down lisa! I wish we all lived closer and could hang out all the time, but even though we cant, were wicked friends and for sure have to do it again! we have to come to windsor to check it all out haha. your finally part of one of the drunken storys! there will be many more to come with you in them, dont worry! LOL!!

Check the website out. The fall season started last weekend I think...and it's $5 bucks cheaper. We payed $21 dollars each and had some 2 dollar off coupon. During their summer season I think it's $25 or $30.
The park closes 2 hours earlier...10-4, but it's not that big of a deal. Plenty of time to go through the Safari, see the shows, ride the boat and train and look at the other animals. There's a lot of things for kids to do, so if you went with a family you'd need more time.
During the off season they close a few things, mostly the water park (just a kids playground) and like seasonal food stands. So you're not really missing much.

Might I just add here...Laura and I didn't need to go to the LCBO b/c we had went earlier. I had to work on Friday night, so right after work I came home and showered, Laura and I got some McDonald's breakfast and hit the road. I told Cale I'd call him around 11:30 b/c we'd be near his house by then. It takes about 3 hours to get from Windsor to Cambridge. So we roll in at about 10:45...45 minutes early...I forgot to take into account the fact that I have a speeding issue, so we got to Cambridge in 2 hours! We went to the LCBO, went to Zehrs...twice, and hung out in the parking lot for a little while before calling Cale. Haha

Ya...quite drunk before we got there. I couldn't even order mine own drink. I threw my wallet at my friend Laura and asked her to get it for me. I'm glad they had carpet there too, b/c where we were lounging out, I was sitting on the floor for a little while b/c I thought the table was too low! Then Laura, Dan and I began to pass out on the couches and Cale wakes us up saying we're peacing out...then he tells me to jump on him, so I jump on his back where I pretend he's a horse as we go out to the car...this I do not remember! I was just told that!
