I love this track, it is tight, it has depth, sound seperation is good, it has a cool riff, loads of energy, and personally...I think the bass is ok. TOP marks mate.

Yeah cool track, nice fx in there, overall production is good but does sound a little bit dated, can't put my finger on exactly why - just the sounds you've used I suppose.
One of the chord changes with the lead sounded a bit funny at first but after a few listens it sounds fine. You might want to think about including some other ideas in there, at the moment it just seems to use one 'theme'... which is fine if it's supposed to be a groovy little filler but if you were aiming for a bigger tune then it could do with a bridge section, change to another melody somewhere or something. At the moment I'd definately play it as a filler.
I agree that maybe the bass could be better, a little bit round and soft sounding, but it does kinda fit with the old sound of the track so isn't really a problem.
6.5/10
(Scale: 0 = don't bother, 1-3 = needs work, 4-5 = nearly there, 6-8 = releasable, 9-10 = outstanding)
