Encouraged by positive feedback I've got recently I decided to go on and work on three new cds Every cd will be totally different (to simplify, I'd say: progressive, trance, tech). I'm loving all these genres and simply couldn't pick one, so 3cds solution should satisfy me (and hope you too).
For the first shot we have a trance mix named 'Exultation', what is quite important. The mix is meant to be cheerful, making you happy and giving positive energy.
I've focused mainly on transitions and matching tracks that fit one another. Dunno what to think about the build as a whole.
The first track owns me lately and brings back sweet memories from Ronski's visit in my city (he started his set with the same track and swept me off my feet ) I've made an intro edit for this occasion. Moving on... Two Alizee tracks (!) give a big contribution here. Then IMHO nice transition between Isis and Solarcoaster (the similarity in the melody was the key). Solarcoaster -> Beautiful is one of my favourite transitions, goes really well. The tune after Air For Life is Shockwaves as theirs beat sound alike. And I think that is a good track to finish a set.

Wow, look at that tracklist. Grabbing this now...

nice set mate, I don't like melodic trance that much anymore but this set was really, really nice. I prefer to do my own mixes with one style as well at least with melodic trance, I like when (melodic trance) mix starts straight with positive, energic tunes just like in this. Technique was good, nothing bad to say from that. I don't like all tunes like Endorphine, but in general there were not that many tracks that I would have wanted to skip what is usual with almost all new trance mixes today What I really enjoyed were the Alizee tunes, bought that 5th track myself too, Thrillseekers have always been one of my favourite melodic trance artists, can't wait when they come to Helsinki next month, Thrillseekers b2b Lange for 3.5 hours

After all really positive vibe in this mix, will burn and listen now and then when I feel bit cheesy

Cascadia, Cascadia - Summer 2001 House Mix

Really really really good set here Mon-Soon! enjoyed it thouroughly. intro track is of course a beauty and the fact that you made an intro edit (quite successful btw) shows you're a step above the rest. also really like the inclusion of Solar Stone - Solarcoaster (Midway Remix). haven't heard that tune in while and while it's not one of my favs from it brought back great memories. it is great when you can blend the classic tracks in with newer tracks to create a new experience that builds from previous experience.

the mixing is superb. some really great transitions. very smooth, melody focused transitions. most of the time you blend the tracks to a great degree sucessfully and that shows good trackselection and ability.

great work. an overall very smooth, pleasing set. this one is goin on my ipod.

I'm glad you liked my set. The mix was intended to be a little cheesy. I'd say Helstrip's music may be considered as cheesy trance. But his music introduced me to trance years ago, so there will always be a place for him in my heart I thought alizee remixes might be unknown for few TAs as those tracks came on alizee singles, not a vinyl. And I was right - you didn't know these tunes

Your personal intro edit is an attention grabber from the start and I like it. I’m also pretty fond of the flow which is the one thing that stands out most in your whole set. You also have a beautiful way of programming your set or in short –a great build. One thing I was disappointed in was in the track selection. I think that is what prevented this set from being phenomenal or mind blowing, but that’s taste. In any case, given the nice job you did with this set I look forward to listening to parts 2 and 3 of your Exulation series so keep them coming bro.
