seriously.. I don't read the TO forums but who cares if it IS a bunch of n00bs.. I'd welcome plenty of more n00bs to Montreal if it meant better bookings.
and Toronto definitely has the edge over that for techno with Montreal the past 2 years.. festivals aside.
just to put it in perspective a little..
Carl Cox = Saturday night in Victoria (Canada's what.. 7th largest city?)
Carl Cox = wednesday night in Montreal
Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, John Acquacviva = long weekend in Toronto

No I just find it odd how there's such a contrast between toronto and montreal.
*Kate I don't know how Victoria is getting Carl Cox, like half my family lives there and I;ve spent loads of time there, I never would of thought they would get someone like Cox to play there.

and yes.. how Victoria can get him on a Saturday but not Montreal suggests something to me a little about the people handling the bookings..
Of course I am happy Carl is coming period.. this is just my own observation comparing canadian cities and all.

yes, sadly, i have to admit, it is true...i miss Montreal! but then again TO has done me good as well exactly for that reason...so that i could finally sort out my life, otherwise my life would still be the afterhours.

Toronto IS full of n00bs and I mean that in a loving way. I can't deny my lovers from TO: Fahad + Jen. BUT...
BUT...
Just looking at their LOL line-up makes the city worth quite a lot in my books. Know what I mean?
