So I went to this sharpie in hand ready to mark how many times Oakey would fuck up like Boomer did in Vegas...

...and...surprise surprise...he actually MIXED reasonably well (better than Tiesto at TiC)...and played some good tracks...not just the usual 2 hours of classics and floor fillers (although there were of course a few). Not bad. And the crowd was HUGE and really into the entire night...I was expecting it to clear out after Oakenfold left and Victor Dinaire got on...but Victor did a good job keeping the party going and people seemed to just eat it up...

I took a few photos which I'll post later...it was an excellent party, all the DJs threw down (Kristina Sky and Pauli P opening) and I heard alot of SD locals saying it was one of the best parties they've had this year. I cant really comment on that since I never go to SD...

But yeah...Oakenfold...isn't 99' Oakenfold but he isnt completely gone....

but w00t for Oakey's drugged out entourage of stereotypical hot dj whores...

hmm intiresting, ive been very curious as of late to hear oakey, not surprised by ur review, after hearing a set from his not to long ago. must see him the next chance i get.

great night and great show, kristina did her thing and got the crowd going, the floor was packed before she got off and everyone was completely in to her set. then paulie p came on and he was okay, wish kristina could have spun into his set, then oakenfold came and he was good, the crowd was definitely into him, and of course victor completely finished the night out perfectly with his amazing set!!!!! but the fun didn't stop there, at 6am we all headed over to the after party to see st. michael start the dancing off with his great mixes and then so glad that kristina brought her music b/c she jumped her happy ass up behind the decks and spun again for atleast an hour, man i could watch and dance to her every weekend, she is so great!!! and then victor began his set which if it's possible was better than the set he did at 4th and b, thanks for the dark and deep. one track after another was amazing and the crowd was dancing their asses off. thanks lost espisode for another great party and being such amazing host. can't wait for the next one!

yes oakenfold did bring it! the night was great untill these whores got up on stage and started doing lesbian acts (not like i really minded)in front of paul. i didnt pay to see that kind of shit, and it sorta ruined the last 25 min or so of pauls set. other than that, ill be looking forward to the next oakenfold show...cheers!

i hate savage crowds!!!
