Feeling adventurous and want to make my favorite indian dish Chicken Tikka. I looked on the web for receipes and there are so many I'm confused. Need a simple receipe that will taste good.

To garnish:
lemon or lime wedges, lightly fried
1 red onion,diced
1. mix all the ingredients expect the chicken together in a bowl. Cut the chicken into cubes, and drop into the marinade. cover and leave in the refrigerator overnight .
2. Thread the pieces of chicken onto metal or presoaked wooden skewers and cook under a preheated hot grill for 5-6 minutes, turing frequently.
3.the chicken can be left on the skewers or removed and arranged on individual serving plates. Serve garnished with fried lemon or lime wedges and diced red onion.
thx for all your help. i'm out the door to pick up the ingredients and will be enjoying chicken tikka tonite
