Detailed synopsis of the night:

8:50pm Philippe picks up me and Tigo (noree) at my house, and we join Michelle (sweetcandygirl) to head over to Santa Monica. Tigo and I down our large cups of wine before getting in the car.

9:15pm Realize while we are on the 10 freeway that I left my camera at home. God Damn wine! I am fired, this is confirmed by everyone in the car.

9:24pm Arrive in Santa Monica, early, and head into the mor bar. Tigo orders Chicken Strips for all of us. Excellent.

9:58pm DJs arrive. I remark that they are late, I am told they are right on time.

10:01pm Kristina throws on the first track of the night:

I say this out loud several times.

I have been playing this track at home ALL DAY...having just warped it in Ableton to use in my next mix. Crazy shit. I was almost going to request Kristina to play it earlier. Well...once again I did not need to make any requests because of this psychic DJ...

10:08pm CUE button on the right CDJ-1000mk2 is not working. After hitting it several times...it lights up. Yay!

A nice progressive start to the evening ensues...getting harder and harder with each track...just like a good mix should.

10:11pm Tigo and I order Adios'. The glass is tall...I think the bartender uses too much soda water. But the drink is great.
I chug the last half.

10:45pm Time for Adios #2. Just as I am about to find Tigo to say "lets get another adios" hes already at the bar "Waaaaaay ahead of you buddy!" I love this guy

11:10pm Second Adios is in full swing and there is a good little crowd, everyone is just having a great time. Tania starts to set up and take over from Reseden #1 DEECHAY!

11:15pm Tania takes over...Ableton + M-Audio begins to own our souls. Yes I am a complete Ableton whore and I dont care what anyone says. Tania just drops tracks left and right, fucking killing it. Again, progression to the set...alot of great tracks, and some how she turns Larry Mountains 54 into a fucking ENERGY filled five minutes of well engineered sound.

11:30pm - 12:30pm I dont exactly know what time everything happened here...but all I know is I was doing some serious jumping up and down, taking video, enjoying a beer courtesy of Dan and Lisa (THANKS!), and taking some ridiculous pictures with Tania's camera.

KvA get on...and just ROCK it. I know they are having a blast, and its not just because of the x number of Heinekens they consumed. The vibe is ridiculous, everybody is having a fucking TIME!

They close with Velvet Morning....absolutely SICK.

I still love trance because of these guys.
