KETHER

In Judaic Kabbalah, the first Sephira of divine emanation. One of the three 'supernal' or unmanifest sephira. The word Kether means Crown in Hebrew, and Kether represents the beginning of creation, Admirable or Hidden Intelligence. Kether is the Crown, since a it is worn above the head. The Crown therefore refers to things that are above the mind's abilities of comprehension.

Kether helps us to perceive the fundamental dynamism that is the true essence of divinity. No matter where we are in the course of history, no matter what stage of evolution has been achieved, we always identify God in terms of what God "will be." There's always room for something new. One can never say I'm here. I've arrived. I'm finished. I've nothing left to accomplish." If God never reaches such a static stage, so too is the case with us, as fragments of divinity. We can always evolve, grow, create, etc. Kether, where we refer to God as "I will be what/who I will be" drives this point home to us.

The crown is an identifier; it tells us who/what the king is and what the king can do; what he's all about. it tells us who God is and suggests what he can do. So we can start by saying that Kether introduces the idea of creative potential the way an overture introduces us to a musical performance, or the way a preface introduces us to a book.

I used a combination of Final Scratch and Acid to Build the Mix. mixing on stanton STR8 100s.

what was the hardest part was keeping black light repeating the entire time and trying to mix the other tracks into each other, quite a distraction. wish I had a better mixer then I wouldn't have to worry about it. but thats what i get I guess.

and as far as cosmic gate goes it kinda more fits into the feel than much of anything else. I was very hesitant to even mix it in. but the feel was quite nice following trance[]control.

but the mix over all gives you a nice exploration feeling of finding something and then finally it trying to be hidden only to be found again.

Ah, good turntables i have a trio of the str8100s myself. Not to be a dick or anything, but Butterfly is by SFX, which is a moniker of Astral Projection. Ehe. Sweet mix tho!

yah, gamemaster is in the mix. forgot to type it out. but all is well. one of the better remixes i think.

as far as butterfly trip. did not know that. will have to look it up. the copy i got said astral projection. thanks though.

I love my stantons. some swear by thier technics and won't spin on anything else. but more recently i think stanton has been putting out much better line. really dug deep and came out to compete for main stage
