As you have a SoundBlaster Live! card you should have one of your recording options as "What U Hear" (next to Microphone, Line In.etc.)
With a sound editor open (Sound Forge, Audition.etc.) and the recording option in the volume control set to 'What U Hear' then just press record and make the sound on the site play.
Once it's finished playing, press stop, then save it.
Hope that helps

i use total recorder for that kind of stuff, it enables you to record the signal that goes to your master output (without going analog so no loss), so you can record anything
ps what site? just curious (i am a flash programmer too)

Thanks guys,
I just ended up using Soundforge - opened up the site, then pressing record as it started.
Simple really!!
