those early essential mixes with sasha and or digweed are some of the best sets ever recorded.

It's funny how if you listen to a single old set in comparision to today's music you think it's just 'meh'. But if you listen to the whole progression of dance music from the beginning, you understand just how good some of those older sets actually are.

Not for me. My jaw dropped when I first heard that Sasha set. As a matter of fact, I don't think my mouth closed for the whole 2 hours.

have it.

Haven't check it out. Hell, haven't checked out probably half of what I've got. I just hate it when downloads are faster than your ability to listen. But to be perfectly honest, I wasn't planning on checking it out anytime soon. I heard an essential mix of his from later on [2001-2002, I don't recall exactly], with pete tong, and for starters, his set was all over the place, and secondly, he trainwrecked a mix. Wasn't impressed, I wrote him off as a producer and not a DJ.

EDIT:
just turned it on. gimme 2 hours.
