Stupid Tiesto Question

In the song 'A Tear In The Open'

Is the word 'Tear' prounonced in the way that would mean to cry, or meaning to rip.

For example, 'He had a Tear in his eye' or,
'There was a Tear in his clothes'

Anyone?

Now you see, thats what I thought. And in a wierd poetic way I think it makes sense or something.

But my mate Phil who's a big Tiesto fan says it's "to cry".

But I think he's wrong!!

Well that makes 2 a piece. I'm sure it's 'to rip'.

It's tear as in crying, Tiesto wouldn't come up with a track title that's almost poetry. (like it would be if tear meant rip)

The vocals are ripped from a sample CD though.

I'm going with rip. Sounds a lot cooler that way.

Take it to the polls I say!

A Tear In The Open - Makes more sense as in tear of a clothes because it has open in it, and the tear is opening..get it?
