what are your feelings on trance and hard house being mixed together? do you think it works? i have tracks such as:

ferry - sublime
alphazone - flashback
ferry - its time
tiesto - urban train
armin - shivers (morph mix)
sunblind - believe (nu nrg)

and am wondering how well hard house tracks like alphazone - stay (club mix) would mix? I'm obviously new to this and having trouble figuring out what mixes well with what and trying to find my style.

Download MixMiester, and screw around with tracks, make sample mixes, you will learn what goes together and what doesnt, you will also find out cueing positions, and after time will find your style and what works for you.

'proper' hard house and trance dont go together to well alphazone isnt hard house anyway its hard trance and i cant see a problem with mixing there stuff into trance.

Lol I've just mixed Universal nation with hardstyle disco (yoji biomehanika).
Everything is possible, if you think it sounds right and it doesn't kill the pressure or anything then why not?

I just mixed disco inferno with neophyte - united gabbers.
