ok, i you may have previously read in some of my other post, i'm doing a 10 page research paper on pvd. I want anyone out there is a big fan of his who may want to write shot sentences or even a paragraph if you want on one of his albums. If anyone knows anything about his deal with the loveparade, like what was the first year he played in the loveparade, does he help with the funding , etc. IF anyone can help me find some more research on him that would also help, most stuff that im finding on him is the same exact thing from his bio on his site. Thanks for any help.
Seven Ways is a cracking album. It’s powerful, slick and subtle trance, with none of the overblown anthems (okay, maybe one) of latter day trance productions and plenty of dance floor power. Paul Van Dyk cleverly develops themes and ideas across the album, so each track fits perfectly with the previous one while being different enough not to lead to repetition. Some of the tracks are better than others, but there aren’t any truly bad ones here. This is pinnacle PVD, before he fell into a comfortable sound and when he was just becoming good enough to get maximum results from his studio. If you like trance you must own this album, it’s a reminder of what good trance should be and what the genre can be. Essential stuff.

Lol, maybe you shoulda outlined it a bit before deciding on the topic?
Talk about the early to mid 90s scene, you could mention that early 92 mix posted to the forum a few days ago,how ahead of his time his was, then the 98-99 explosion, and the progression into today...
You can also talk about his hectic travel schedule, his humble beginings in E. Germany....etc.
Quote form other interviews (cite the source!)
Theres a lot dude, just sit down and map it out.

You should mention his upbringings in Eisenhuttenstadt, E. Germany, how he came to Berlin...the early days (1989-1991) and the fall of the Berlin wall and how this was a monumental time for the spread of the club scene and electronic music at the time. Paul listened to the radio from E. Berlin and developed his love for the music long before the wall fell. Also worth mentioning is his first major release "The Green Valley EP" which came out in 1994. 45rpm was soon to follow, and then Seven Ways, Out there and Back, etc...
There is alot you can do with this paper, but you shouldn't ignore the history behind Paul's music and his journey to becoming an electronic music legend.
Good luck!
