Hi I was wondering if you have a cdj and a laptop, can you use these two to mix? Or would I need another table/cdj? If I can mix with just the cdj and the laptop, what program would I need for my laptop? Thanks in advance.

don't use...if you plan to switch from cdj to a laptop and vice versa...level's do not match and definetly quality won't match.

so get another cdj, and then you have the option of using only audio cds, or who knows maybe you'll be tempted by serato scratch live where you can use your laptop as a song database and your cdjs to mix and do all the work. (i've seen it done...so much easier)...

or you can just use your laptop as you'll feel easier...and then use something along the lines of virtual dj, or traktor...
