cos it sounds cheesy...
the sorta noise made when u rub cheese against a grater

hmm but i dunno... its sorta hard to give a definition as such, prolly easier to recognise a cheesy song than define the term...

my definition of cheese tracks are tunez that have no creativity in em whatsoever. sure they sound alright i guess, they're danceable but they don't take you anywhere. just a track that you can tap your foot to. usually an upbeat tune with a really repetitive synth on top of a synth. like better off alone by alice deejay for example.

Cause cheese is garbage just like this thread. Bloody hell......cheese meisters like atb, darude and other assholes make music that just degrades other trance artists who make intelligent music.

That is about it, just a tune that is for the pop dance fans, kinda aimed at 14 year olds, and school discos, like steps. Just cheese

lynx is the only one to attempt to define. i myself have been wondering about the cheese question cuz everyone here says this is cheesy that is cheesy but a lot of the songs they rave about are cheesy too so what's the dividing point. i guess to each his own. i actually liked better off alone until it got played out. i still like the signum remix. download it before you trash it cuz its hella good. just like the quake remix of atb - don't stop. the first time i heard it i was shocked. and don't flame me for being a cheeser. i'm more into prog house which you could all flame me for anyways.

Cheese is great. Sometimes, after I listen to 4 hours or so of straight "good" trance, I pop in my cd with "Better off Alone", "Castles in the Sky", "Robin Fox", and "The Warp Brothers - We Will Survive" and it puts a smile on my face.

Cheese is the stupid, silly hashed out sitcom that's fun to watch after you've just seen 2 great movies...
