How much would i have to pay an office assistant?
I need to hire a part-time office assistant and would like to know how much a person like that would cost me per hour.
- early 20's or older
- ambitious, well-spoken, friendly
- able to use a computer
- education / lack of it is unimportant
This person would have to work about 15-20 hours / wk at first, but the position would become full-time in the coming months. It would offer serious room for advancement, as once the person "grows out" (assuming they learn, expand, develop themselves, etc) of their job, they'd qualify for higher-paying positions with more responsibility.
Their duties, at first, would consist mainly of making phone calls (followups with existing clients, etc), placing orders with suppliers, scheduling deliveries, and basically doing whatever else needs to be done in the office. As i already mentioned though, the company is growing very rapidly, and they could find themselves with more money and responsibility very soon.
All that being said, how much should i expect to pay them per hour, at first?
