Red face Sets with the most trainwrecks you've heard.

What sets have you heard that had possibly the worst mixing you've ever heard?

The one that comes to memory since it's recent, Jean's 2005 Sensation White set.

I can forsee a lot of Tiesto sets being mentioned.

I've heard a lot of trainwreck openers at the club, but trainwreck sets usually get the delete right away...

Nick Warren's live sets usually have a lot of blatant fuckups. I don't have any on this computer though so I can't cite any specific examples.

in fairness, compare the tracklist on the dvd with the tracklist from the webcast... it was very cut down & most of the bad ones were down to the dvd editors cutting out sections & merging others together

Yeah, his mixing can be pretty shoddy at times.

At least he plays great tunes and has nice flow though

Not a "set" per say, but ATB's CD that I unfortunitely own called "DJ In The Mix" has probably the WORST mixing i've ever heard in my life. It's so bad, that you wonder if this guy even knows how to mix. I haven't seen him live or listened to his sets online before, but I can tell you, if this CD is any indication of this guy's mixing ability, then he must be REALLY bad. He mixes in some trance in CD one, mostly some newer stuff from the time (2004) and then after fading out most of those tracks, the mix just changes half way into "Missing (Todd Terry's Club Mix)" by Everything But The Girl, which mixes into "9 PM Till I Come (Sequential One Remix)" by ATB, and boy is it BAD. I mean the quality of the whole recording changes after he fades out "Epic (Above & Beyond Remix)" by Rusch & Murray into those tracks. After "9 PM Till I Come", which is still playing with "Missing", he abroughtly cuts it off and BOOM it's into "Rush (Super 8 vs. Orkidea Remix)" by Aalto. And your thinking the whole time "What the fuck? is this what he calls "mixing"?" and then you hear a lot more trainwrecks, with fading in and fading out, and mixing so off the beat you wonder "can this guy hear? is he deaf?" and "has this CD been mixed by a 5 year old?", it's just that bad. I could go on and on about this horrible CD.
