I just picked up cubase , used to use reason for all my productions.

I have searched the manual and my cubase power book i pickedup and cant find the info i need. I cant beleave they make this so damn difficult every other drum vst is a breeze.

I want to load my own samples into the lm7 and can not figuer it out for the life of me. Please help.

LM7 is just a drum machine, not a sampler - you can't load your own sounds into it.

You need a sampler for that, which Cubase does not include. Look at this thread.

This is definitely an option and is exactly what I did when I switched from Reason to Cubase. It helped ease me into the transition. However after my first couple of productions, I finally moved away completely from Reason and started using NI Battery 2 which I highly recommend. LM7 is indeed shite as messytechie put it.
