All of us here have our diferences in opinion regarding what's good & what's not, who's the man, who's the sellout. But, one thing that keeps us united is our love of music, in particular EDM. So, with that being said which song do you loathe the most for the sacrilege it has committed to your favourite genre?

I guess System F - Out Of The Blue could be a candidate by taking trance to the epic field. But it was one of the tracks that made me a tranceaddict back in the days..

None are the most damaging song to dance music though.

Any of the stuff that cheapened trance to such a degree it bacame a 'fad' to start listening. None of these songs did that. Something like Heaven, which pulled in every 15 year old teenybopper kid thinking this was trance, not even just 15y/os but the wider community in general. You may say ATRC did that too, but not anywhere near the extent of Heaven (there are other examples, I can't think of them, but Heaven is just an example).

If you say trance to some people, they WILL think Heaven. Far far less peole will think Shivers (and as much as i hate that f'in song, its better than Heaven), and if they think ATRC, they at least have some taste cos its a far better song than any of those others you have mentioned. Even jump thew next train, as bad as it is, did not cheapen trance or dance music.

Gotta agree, Heaven is by by far the worst thing to happen to trance music since, well, ever! Any supposed trance song that you hear on the way to work in the morning, can definitely not be too good!

THESE are examples are ABSOLUTE GARBAGE and have given trance the terrible rep it has

Err, no. In fact the track isn't even cheesy - it's just overplayed. It could be damaging, of course, in the fashion of "Oh, I've heard this track so many times, all EDM sucks". And quite frankly I'd hate to have someone who thinks that way listening to the same music as I.
