Removal of part of the reply function

Here is a thought that gets annoying alot. When people quote pictures to reply with a smile or lol or lawl or o rly or whatever the hell they say. Its wildly annoying seeing the same picture repeated 10 times with small lame comments attached each time. Is it possible to prevent pictures from being multiplied over and over in threads?
