Ok, i can get any Asus laptop for a very good price (better than most wholesalers around here can do), so I'm thinking i might take advantage of this.

The Asus A6K has a Turion MT28 (1.6ghz i belive), 256mb geforce 6200 video card (i dont play games, but i want a separate video card so it doesnt leech my ram), 1gb of ram, and a 4,200rpm hard drive. Only prob is it uses SIS chipset

I know from experience that SIS are notoriously un-good, can anyone verify that the SIS 756 + SIS 964L chipsets are indeed crappy?

Also, anyone got any ideas on performance diff between Turion and Pentium M? Cause i can get a 1.8ghz Acer for about $100 more :P
Acers look crap though =(
