flstudio (or other prog) and keyboard assignment

Hi,
I need help with FL studio and midi. how do I assign each keyboard key to a different channel? I wanna play different instruments simultaneously.

hhhmm I wonder why nobody answered...
normally stupid questions get answered with flame so this shouldn't be the case...

then forgive me for trying again:

What I'd like to do is have some keys(on the board) play a certain instrument while other keys play another instrument.

Does anybody do this?
How about on other software? (edited subject)

in fruitys standard sampler there is a small keyboard... to left click and drag the keys you want to play...

thats half of it and i guess you already knew it... the problem is with setting up the second sound... aahhh fl studio forums maybe???

Drag the keys you wanna play like jasonf and play over a big layer
