Need to Move....TA's help me out
Hello TA's I need your help
What Neighbourhood do you live in and how friendly are the ppl. Are there many immigrants there and does every1 look out for each other?______________________________________________
I can't take this city anymore. I need to find a better neighbourhood to move to.
This morning...my guy and I walk out to the car only to discover that it was broken into.
Few weeks ago my purse will all my ID was stolen here to.
I think that's enuf for me/us. I need to move to a safe neighbourhood. That safe neighbourhood used to be here where I was (a dense residential area with a school and a park nearby). But now after 13yrs, bad element has moved in and I am not happy about this.
So TA's help me by telling me what areas of the city are still relatively safe and family friendly. I prefer family friendly bc that means the neighbours will be looking out for each other

I wish I could say that a neighbourhood was "safe".
In our area (Liberty Village), a new development, we've had one locker break-in (and an arrest was made!). My neighbour caught three guys trying to steal bikes from people's porches.
I had my car slim-jimmed 4 times in two years in Cabbagetown, too. The only place I haven't lived in Toronto is the Annex. So I can't say what it's like there. Only there's lots of students.

i live at ossington/harbord area. right between little portugal and little italy. the area is pretty good but still has sketchbags floating around.
my windsheild wipers were stolen off my car just a few weeks ago.
but my neighbours are pretty good. they let karen use the phone when she was locked out even tho they didn't speak english and helped my mom get out of a snow bank.

what a day that was! I am very greatful for your neighbours...Kevin you still owe me...I get locked out in the cold and rain for your package, then you end up throwing it out as it wasn't important...lol
Kel and I live in a pretty decent area although someone did back into my car rather nicely and drive off, but the neighbours got the plate number so I could file a report....too bad the police haven't followed up yet

Your best bet is to get out of Toronto all together. I recommend Milton....that's where I am and it is great. Small town feel and just close enough to Toronto.

I'm not too sure about which areas are best to live in, but if you need help finding a place, I work in a real estate office so I could find a few listings for ya!

I've lived in Forest Hill for almost 2.5 years, very nice neighborhood and little/no crime. Rent might be a little high, though there are plenty of apartment buildings on eglinton between bathurst and yonge.

Come to North York -- low crime, rent is a bit more, but well worth it.

Hahaha, that was funny (not you being stuck in the rain, me throwing it out afterwards).
