Russian Nightime Psy

OK, so... Anyone here digging this dark style that the ruskis are putting out these days. For a while there I just didnt get it, but recently I've been craving the stuff. I'm talking about artists like Kindzadza, Penta, Freaking and G-Light. This shits pretty out there, and theres an expressed mission with the style to experiment with industrial and take psy back to its roots in a way. Fair enough but the shit sounds cutting edge imho.

I'm totally hooked on this album at the moment http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/dej/dej1cd010.html tracks 6 and 9 in particular.

Anyone else liking this style?? Have any track/album recommendations?

Jeah, certainly. I tend to only like certain artists though. The Russian material released on Discovalley Recs is often amongst the best... take Kindzadza's new track On the Night Side for example, or Terminator's Cube, or Fungus Funk with Dis. Penta is the best of the lot, no question there - though he isn't always lumped in with the rest of the Russians simply because he's based in San Fran.

I can't imagine too many people around here enjoying this stuff though... Russian night psy is pretty much the antipode of pussy trance.

Yeah I've heard Pentas new album. Pretty whacked out shit. Thanks for the recommendations. What compilation is that Kindzadza track on? I couldnt find it anywhere.

I cant get over the synth programming in some of this stuff... unbelievable.
