I got a Dvd/r and a Dvd/rw. I've always wanted to sample from movies. How would i get around to do this?

if you have soundcard with sort of loopback device or what u hear recording it's just as easy as recording anything else...
(you might wanna check in your windows mixer for recording if there's something like "stereo mix" or "what u hear input")

if you don't...you might want to look for some sort of software loopback driver...there was something called Virtual Audio Cable I think...you might wanna google for it...

When I need to rip audio from a dvd, I usually use an ancient program called DVDx, which can convert a DVD to AVI, MPG and WAV.

I think it's still available on doom9.org
