Well, Star Wars Battlefront 2 just got released yesterday along with the DVD release of Revenge Of The Sith, Watching all the previous from the game, This one looks and plays 10x better then the first game, One of the biggest edition in this new game is that now you can participate in those huge space battles in the movies, Not only that, You can now play as the Hero characters such as the Jedi, Sith, Among others.

The whole reason why I suscribed to star wars galaxies was to pilot because the space battles where the best of any star wars game...back then, maybe this will be an alternative?

(and not pay 15 a month )

I used to play Star Wars Galaxies, But for only like 2 months if I remember, That game was time consuming, Battlefront 2 is a lot more apealing, Cause if your someone who wants to get in the game and start kicking as, Then thats the game for you, Galaxies however, You have to spend hours upon hours just to built up your character and get enough experience points and such, Just so you can get a high level character, Plus you would have to be hardcore to even do such.

Yea I hear ya, and especially with the massive amount of bugs and server downtimes...I didn't think I was getting my money's worth. Battlefront 2 is a game I am going to checkout for sure .

Oh Battlefront 2 will be worth it, The fact you can get in any starfighter, Fly around in space and dogfight against other people, Then fly right into a capital ship, Land in it, Blow it up from the inside, Use it's gun turrents against other enemies and such.

I used to play SWG as well, up until they released CUII... They fucked over my character big time.. But yeah, Battlefront 2 is awesome. Got it for xbox and im lovin it.

I just bought Battlefront 2 about a week ago... hadn't ever played the first one.. but I love the 2nd one! I'm a big fan of the crazy all out battles... 32+ players on the battlefield! I'm also a fan of being able to change your player/character mid-level... reminds me a lot of TeamFortress a bit...

I find myself skipping the space battles in the ships... pretty boring... controls are difficult and not as much fun as the rest of the game...

I'm finding the online play really laggy too!!! Anybody else played online? is it just me??

Graphics: 8.5/10 (still no comparison to a game like Halo)
Sound/Music: 9/10 (love the StarWars soundtrack)
Gameplay/Controls: 7.5/10 (found it innacurate at times for incorrect level clipping, especially for sniping)
AI: 6.5/10 (STUUUUPID bots... and STUUUUPID enemies... nothing makes for a more frustrating experience for me)
Fun: 8.5/10 (Especially in the huge battles, VERY FUN!)
Overall Rating: 8/10

Really great game overall! HIGHLY recommendable!!!
