V8 Recordings V8001 Kenzie and Cobain ‘K Theory’ out soon

A new record label is launching in the city of Plymouth. Focusing on the genre of uplifting trance music, V8 recordings intend to put out high quality and accessible trance productions.

The debut release for V8 will be the anthem ‘K-Theory’ by Kenzie and Cobain. This track is written by South West producers Ross MacKenzie and DJ Steve Jones. On remix duty is Weymouth based hard trance DJ Jon The Baptist, who provides a stunning alternate rework.

The track has received support from a massive range of trance / hard dance dj’s including BBC Radio 1’s Dave Pearce, Guffy, DJ Choose, Michael Splint, Daniel Bailey, Big Al, Danny Slade, Vibe fm’s Nikki Elise, Louk, Damien James, Anthony Dean, Marc Vedo and Charlie G.

The track is also at no 2 in hard dance chart of Mixmag the biggest dance music magazine in the world (Oct issue).

“V8 Recordings bursts from nowhere and touches down with a corking first release.

DJ Steve Jones weighs in with a tough, Euphoric re-work while Head fish head honcho Jon the Baptist serves up a big room remix that’s sure to be the start of good things for this label”
