1991 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4

anyone own one/driven one/have any comments?

i have been toying with the idea of buying and import, and this car is pretty sexy looking. big engine, 2 door, sleek design. would consider throwing some money at it and getting some performance accessories/cosmetic changes (i.e body kits). but i'm just curious as to what you guys think of this car.

the 3000GT is an all around awesome car...a buddy of mine has one, and he's had no problems...and its a really fun car to drive

Wouldn't it make more sense to buy a car that isn't 14 years old?

EDIT: i've heard about problems with the timing belt. and broken valves are a bitch to fix, but i'm just wondering how BIG of a problem/glitch the 3000gt has with the belt?

my daily comuting car is 38 years old

You know what is a bad car? 1991 Celica All-Trac Turbo! Maybe not as fast as the 3000gt I don't think but, I think I would take it over the Mitsu.

I like the 3000GT. My friends has a slightly newer one and he says he has had no problem with the timing belt other than the ocassional tweek. Hes had the car for about 8 years.

well i can't offer much about owning or driving one, but i always remember seeing my neighbor drive by and taking notice...it's a pretty cool car

its got a slick interior as well

those r nice cars, might wanna get a newer one tho...
