Great Show!
Set Time: 1 AM-4:40 AM. AvB played right up til the end, even after the lights came up, the crowd chanted "one more track", & he obliged.
Trainspotting:
Traffic
"Message in a Bottle"--unknown remix "sending out an SOS, sending out an SOS"
3 Drives on a Vinyl--unknown remix.
Crowd: Eager. Venue was full, but not overcrowded.
Cost: Expensive. $25 cover, $12 drinks.
Lines: It's definitely worth it to get pre-sales. I showed up at 11 PM, & waited 35 minutes. Pre-Sales people were zipping in in 5 minutes.
Venue: Straight box room, with 2 elevated dancing platforms on the sides, & an elevated DJ booth/balcony. Much better than Texas venues which delight in random railings/split levels.
My own uncoolness factor: very high. I recognize TranceEyes22, tell her "hi!" & "I recognize you from your pictures, you're very bold to post."
Tranceyes22 to me: Yeah, I know I'm old, today's my birthday.
Me: No, no, no you're BOLD!
Her: I'm OLD? STFU.
Me: ah...nevermind.
Other uncool moments: Looking for the mythical "D Street exit" off 395 that maps.google told me to take, & ending up cruising through the Sursum Corda projects.
AvB really ripped the lid off, it was a set that started off with high energy & did not let up.

Armin @ Glow 01.10.05 Review!
I don't post much on TA, but I had to share my night with Armin at Club Fur!
AWESOME, AMAZING, UNBELIEVABLE. His set ruled. He handled the crowd like they were mold, the place was packed but not too much so, the vibe was killer, and Armin spun right up until 4:40am, at which point people started singing in Dutch and the crowd chanted "One More Track"
A bit of what was played...someone else might help me out?
He opened with Deepsky feat. Jess - Ghost
AvB vs. Gabriel and Dresden - Zocalo
Andy Moor - Halcyon
3 Drives on a Vinyl - Greece 2000 (Remix)
U2 - Where the Streets Have No Name (John O Callahan mix I believe)
Markus Schulz feat. Departure - Without You Near
Way Out West - Killa (DJ Orkieda remix)
The Police - S.O.S. remix
Marco V - False Light
AvB - Shivers (Alex M.O.R.P.H. remix I think)
Randy Katana - Play it Louder
Holden & Thompson - Nothing (93 returning mix)
His encore track was a remix of Nalin & Kane - Open Your Eyes
There was so much more, and the set just flowed! If I think of more I'll post.
Thanks Armin, what a killer night!

i went with my sister and her co worker, and 4 other friends came later. we had a table at the VIP i got drunk as shit first time at a club. i didnt dance as much as i usually do because it was just too packed.... so i chilled most of the time at our table. there was a fight too, some vietnamese people right infront of me and there were like 10bouncers 2 minutes later. it was a sight! very nice to watch. haha. dj remy was amazing! when he dropped dark providers the people just went crazy!!! unbelievable! and for armin's "cdj1000 malfunction", alot of people enjoyed it! armin is such a pimp, he tried to hollar at that one girl that was dancing he made her go to the booth hahaa. i dont know hwat happened next....

i don't really post in this part of TA, but wanted to just wanted to say that last nite was definately the best nite of my semester so far (only to be followed by last week's Evol Intent show as a close second)
the track selection was amazing, AvB was smiling all the way through his set just like he was in ibiza... me and my friends were all filled with nostolgia for Ibiza by the end of the nite.
Everything was great, the venue was amazing, i've never been to fur before.
Only a couple downsides to the nite. One of them was AvB not really paying much attention to me even though my friend boosted me up to the DJ booth to hand Armin a demo of mine (i guess i can't really take it seriously cause i'm sure he gets a million demos a day... but nonetheless upsetting) So i just dropped the cd on the platform next to his tables. The second was watching this one idiot raving trying to impress everyone with his "skills." C'mon, nobody does that anymore, lol.
All in all, thought, it was an amazing nite. Markus Schulz, Tiesto and Junkie XL all in October!
BTW, the remix of crystal method's "bloodrave" was just SICK.
