Definitly works fine. I use it (originally bought 1.1 when it came out). These days my real gripe is that the sound quality is not great, there are little warbles/drops/artifacts that do not exist in the source that get introduced because of the crappy scratch amp. If I had more money I would get SSL, but it is hard for me to justify paying a few hundred bucks when my current setup gets the job done. I guess that is the main thing, yes TFS 1.5 will play your digital files OK and you will be able to control them with your decks. However if you care a lot about how the final product will sound you might want to spend some extra cash on SSL.
Don't get me wrong, mixes with 1.5 do not sound like crap (all mixes on my website use it), it is just that the newer interfaces (FS 2.0 and SSL)do work better.
