My senses have got the better of me, and i finally got around to bunging the old prodigy album back on, and it brings back some memories, and still sounds damn good loud.
Anyway this is what ivibes have to say
quote:
The Prodigy have revealed two new tracks from their forth-coming album "Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned" by playing them at festivals in Switzerland and Germany.
Liam, Maxim and Keith played 'Triger', a classic Prodigy tune with spooky pianos and Keith and Maxim shouting "we shoot you in the face".
'Nuclear' has a punky feel a heavy guitar solo and Maxim rapping, "For avery actino, there's a reaction." The Prodigy also revealed yet another token guitarist - a girl called Alli of the Fifth Amendment.
"Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned" being their forth album will be realeased
in 2002.

I cant wait for the new album, it has been a while

Hope it will be good. But I think that they have just gotten worse and worse. I still love their music, but "Experience" was their finest hour I think. "Wind it up", "Out of Space".. Aah, memories
I donīt really like their Electro-punkish-kinda sound they have nowadays..

is it possible to classify the Prodigy into an electronic genre? Do the individual albums match up to a genre?

well early on they were really trancy but "fat of the Land" was kind of the best from all types of music.
Anyways, i heared that their new album will be more electronic/trancy then the last one. Only time will tell..

I don't imagine Experience or MFTJG as trance. Experience had some drum and bass and stuff, while Jilted was truly experimental or something. anyone else have thoughts?
