Solid Globe - Black Wood / Crystal Water [Fundamental]

Yep, watch out, new Solid Globe release is coming on Fundamental and I think it´s massive.

Solid Globe - Black Wood / Crystal Water

A1: Black Wood - Hell of a tune, reminds me of North Pole and it has a real good flow. Think, that this one is going to grow on the dancefloor. I love the guitar-part. This one is one of the best tunes this year so far. (10 / 10)

B1: Crystal Water (Woken) - This tune has a real wonderful and lovely piano-sample. Sounds a bit like "Yin" sometimes and that´s awesome. Strings and Piano are sounding perfect in this one. (9.5 / 10)

Allready got my promo of this one. And I´m loving it.

Crystal Waters is pretty decent, doesn't fanny about too much and pretty subtle. Production sounded a bit thin when I heard it on a set though, hope they managed to change that for the official release.

Black Wood is their best since North Pole imo. the guitar part is amazing!

I have liked Solid Globe and all of their singles and b-sides that they have put out thus far but I think that Black Wood is weak. The kick sounds odd, the bassline is ok at best and the echoed guitar is just ok as well, nothing amazing. I haven't heard Crystal Water yet so I can't judge on that. Maybe Black Wood will grow on me, but I don't think so...
