How would you write these vowels?
Hello there,
Well, I'd like some help here from both English speakers and people whose native language is not English.
As you can guess from the title, I'm studying vowels. However, not in the objective sense (i.e. no phonetic transcriptions), as I'd rather compare them with how you perceive these vowels.
In your native tongue (and accent), how would you transcribe the following syllables?

Please remember to say what region you're from
Oi, Oi!
1. If you feel that two syllables represent the same sound, please say so.
2. Don't read the other posts (I'd like your unbiased opinion). However, if you do read, try not to change your mind because of what someone else said. The difference in perception between accents is quite important.
3. If you've got some free time (and a mic), it would be interesting to see how you would pronounce these syllables as well. If you don't have anywhere to host these sounds or you're too shy to post them here, my e-mail is my_username[email protected]
4. If your language doesn't have this sound for the letter "g", write using "k" instead.
Thanks in advance
