K first off booing was stupid. Im leaving it at that.
Now the reason im posting is because i drove up from london to see this contest. So needless to say i left the club at 1130 to drive back to london and listened to 100.7 the whole way back to hear the results. So finally at like 130 i hear that the big winner is Brisco. It was a great set and he does have skill and from that respect i can see how he won. What was kinda dissapointing was seeing all the other djs mix into their set frome the previous Djs set and then Chris Gregory gets on and just kills the previous DJs set and started his own. If thats your style thats fine but I think most Djs are used to going from one DJs set to theirs by mixing not killing and starting over. In my eyes that should be loss of points there and that makes me question how he got second. Now last i checked Beba, Maxx, Neeta, Naz and all the others involved went way out of there way to make last night happen. sound lights vibe feel was all much better then the week before when i spun and i thank you all either way for the great fun i had. What pisses me right the fuck off is hearing this guy Brisco get on the radio station which is not his and running his mouth. First words out of your mouth bro were just disgusting. something to the effect of "Im glad i had a chance to bring this great fuckin house music to people and i hope i can bring this shit to many more." And you know what fine that you wanna let peps hear yoru shit but dont run you mouth sounding like that on a radio station that you have been given the chance to be heard on. Show Maxx a little respect you make him look so unprofessional when he lets you onto the station to make your voice heard. If i was any of the judges youd be voted a BIG LOSER in my book regardless of your DJ skills all around, if you cant represent yourself in a proper way you shouldnt at all especially since its not your club, radio station or anything of the sort. When was the last time you heard any DJ on the radio swearing his mouth off.
Thanks. |
I agree. I was not able to attend this week, but from what Moneyman told me about Brisco's On air commentary appals me. In order to be taken seriously in any business, you need to be serious. Or at least sound it...
