Hi everyone Im new to this forum and i hope to learn alot and make a few friends along the way. The problem is i have been into Mixing for about 9 years and i really want to dj in a night club but im not sure how to go about it as i have sent lots of tapes out and never got any replies from these clubs. My mates say im really good and theres been a few bars near me that have said the same but they just dont want my kind of music. So any help would be great. I hope i havnt posted in the wrong section..

anyway besides sending out mix tapes or cd`s to people, what other way can i get dj work in clubs. I was looking at a few agencies on the web and the only problem is i dont want to pay to get a gig. im also willing to offer a free 2 hr set just to start me off. i used to do the odd parties and stuff but to be honest thats not the same as a club is it.
