i'd just like to know the reasons for this rules change. did someone complain about the links? is TA just preventing trouble that may come?

these random rapidshare links used to be one of my main sources of music for the past months

It`s always been like this and you as an old time member should know that. No rule change. It`s been like that ever since and when things got too much Neo even put a sticky in MD last year:

It`s just that it slipped by everyone`s notice in the TL forum lately but will now be more enforced again.

yes, i am well aware that "TA doesn't support filesharing". it's just that sets have always been a grey area. i guess they thought it was time to make a clear rule.
