4:45am: Just got home. I really didn't think the night was all that great.

THE DJs

Mark Oliver: Played a great warmup set. Should have been spinning at prime time. Totally the best set I heard all night. Loved Missy Elliott - Lose Control (Jacques Lu Cont dub) track of the night for me. Heard it played in the orange room too I think.

Loco Dice: I don't remember anything he played, I guess I was too busy sleeping.

Ritchie Hawtin: With his new ableton setup he was able to push the envelope of boring beeps and clicks. *yawn*

Lee Burridge: A few decent tunes, but overall failed to really get things shaking. He could have got the ball rolling but just let things simmer rather then building energy.

Timo Mass: Was alright, but never seemed to build to a climax, I keep waiting. It never happened though. Perhaps after I left? Though he did increase the energy level a bit with some banging tunes.

K-swing: Was laying down murder. The act of the night in my opinion. The only dj in the whole place to really had a energy that was catching on. It was over too soon.

I hope that carl cox and ferry laid down chaos. They had a lot resting on their shoulders when I left.

THE CROWD

Actually wasn't as insanely packed as I had thought it would be. Still way too crowded in the guv for my liking though. Kool haus had a near perfect amount of people there. The crowd wasn't as bad as it often is at the guv. The usual sweaty jackass muscle head freaks with their shirts off pushing their way around. The usaul crackhead 50yr old asian freakshow.

THE CLUB

guv could have tried the lasers out before 2am for christs sake, you've got them use them. Kool haus had some pretty brutal sound at the start of the night, but seemed better as I left. The ceiling was dripping water on me which wasn't the nicest. The Drink was crammed so I stayed outta there. The Orange room seemed like the place to be really. Right amount of people with great breakbeat while K-swing was on.

OVERALL:

5.5/10. No massive hands in the air party vibe. There were moments but it seemed forced. Like the crowd was waiting for something that wasn't delivered while I was there. Kudos to mark oliver and K-swing.

Here's two tracks I wouldn't mind ID's for. The first one Oliver spun and the second one was Burridge.

Well, I left at 5:30, because my cousins foot started bleeding and he needed to get home

Probably one of the best parties of my life... Cox dropped the best set, thats for sure.

Loco Dice dropped a decent opener... but thats what it was, an opener. He probably could have done much better, although it did do the job of pumping me up for the rest of the night.

Richie Hawtin dropped a pretty boring set, but thats his style. I have no idea what the last track he dropped was, but it was DEFINATELY the track of the ight for me.

Lee Burridge started off pretty good, but he kinda lost it at the end and I wasn't a fan.

Timo was dropping bombs left and right from what I heard of his set, but I only heard a little bit of it.

Cox... what can I say, it was the set of my life. It's definately too bad that I had to leave so early.

I got a 9 year anniversary t-shirt

splitloop and ferry corsten were my sets of the night (i wonder how did breaks and trance go together lol)

uberzone, coxy and timo maas were killing me too. damn great night. not to packed in orange room and kool haus so it was nice. kinda disappointed about lee burridge though. i've heard way better stuff from him! people were generally nice tonight, the tiny fire works were cool as hell haha (especially when i saw a bouncer holding it hah). hope you all had fun!
