What software do I use to rip an audio cd into one mp3 file?

I just bought an mp3 player and I've been ripping my entire collection of cds into mp3 format.

When I rip DJ compilations like the ISOS and ASOT series, I am left with those annoying pauses between tracks.

I was wondering if you guys could recommend an app that I can use to rip an audio cd into one large mp3 file.

mp3 are lossy, if you go straight to mp3, use a high bitrate for electronic music especially. Or you could try monkey's audio ripping for lossless compression.
