Little sound from left speakers from my turntable

Question, I was spinning when all of a sudden for no apparenty reason, one of my turntables lost audio to the left speakers and left cup of the headphone. Redid some of my connections and still had same problem.
However my other turntable has same level of sound coming from both left and right speakers/headphone. So I tried switching channels my turntables were hooked into my mixer, and still had same problem w/ that one turntable giving little sound out of hte left speakers.

Suggestions?? It is a older turntable that has undergone major surgery w/ superglue to keep it working but all of a sudden this problem arose.

check the connection of the carts, i had the same problem not long ago, and found that one of my carts were blown and needed to be replaced, try swapping the tone arm (if its a pair of the same turntable) with the other turntable and checking if this is the problem, if it still persists its most likely your connection or the actual turntable.

let me know how it goes.

thanx a lot man, i tried switchin the cartridges around and oddly both turntables seemed to be back to normal output. So still determined my system was ok i switched back the cartridges and inputs to the original channels i had before this mess happened, and all the sound levels were ok. Seems to be ok for now, still scary though, might invest in a cdj-200 just so i have a back up of some kind.

Waste of money IMO, if that's the only thing you'll use the CDJ 200 for, if you want a third deck or to replace a deck then i would buy one, but to have one handy in case something were to go wrong with one of your decks is a little wasteful again in my opinion.

Just give your equipment the once over and make sure everything is nice and clean.. From the sounds of it this is the first time this has happened, so hopefully it wont happen to often in the future..

Just my 2p.

good suggestion m3lly, but final update, w/ one configuration, it seems audio is lower from one table while other one is ok, but when i switch cartridges around, one has no left side audio while other one has weak right side audio. I think its the cartridges I need to replace, at least thats what I hope it is since that would be the cheapest thing to replace.

Havn't tried switching the inputs my turntables are plugged into but it seems the cartridges, depending on which one they're plugged into, makes the output difference. What I don't understand is how like Saturday all my stuff was working fine, then randomly last night this all started. ARGHhhh

Edit: It works fine now, WTF, this thing is flip-flopping between normal output and weaker output. Now I have little clue which component(s) are the problem.
