things i like:
-very nice start, very original.
-i like that snare, i think its a snare anyway
-theres a few nice sound fx in this one.
- the lead at around 2:20 sounds nice.

didnt like:

-can't really feel a bassline in this one
-maybe put a little more vibe in it, make it more full.

thats about it, hope this helps!

Aye i changed the whole bassline because the first sample i posted a few days back i had complaints that it was too full on. it was more hard trance rather than uplifting/melodic which i'm trying to create. but i'll have another look at it and try and purk it up.

anyone else?

cool beat.. very psy sounding overall.

you have quite an original sound. beats are to my liking. they sound like the track is at half speed and this sounds cool. your track would work well as a set starter of one of my dj sets.

2;13 - melody is really not doing the sophistication of the rest of the track any good. synth is not right and melody is a bit 'cream' but in a bad way id do a progressive version without the melody but with more of the vocal sample. you could really build up all the layers you have here and turn it into a great progressive track if you sort out the arrangement to m.i.k.e style

definately to my likeing and the track was very enjoyable and original(bar the melody).

rich

richg101: Thanks for the feedback. im guessing your a progressive man. mikes fantastic although would find it difficult to recreate some of his stuff.

can i just ask what is it about the melody you don't like?

Throw a bassline in this tune and this tune will be banging. I get a more psy/prog feel from this song due to all the FX you got going on. If you want a more uplifting feel, try changing up the sounds you're using. Good luck

djlogik: Thanks for the feedback. Im working on the bass at the minute. i used the sound fx because the original name of the track was 'naturious angel' but when i added the vocals i had to change the name. ill have a look at them and see what i can change

This mix is quite interesting. One thing to improve on is the overall drive of the track. Don't be afraid of sounding original, 'cause I can here potential in this but also some of the old school patterns and sounds that might be obsolete.
Definitally work on the kick and bass relationship and make them groove first, then start adding other elements.

Lalin

I am not into this kind of music but this seems very stoppy starty and doesn't really flow!

The kick is kinda very 'in your face'! Would be nice to hear some of the sounds more that seem to have been drowned out!

The eqing seems very high heavy, especially on the hats and percussion. Generally not bad, some nice elements but not really my cup of tea!

Keep it up though!

thanks for the feedback

lalin: yeah i think everyone seems to think that a good bass is missing so that will be addressed. cheers for thinking it has potential ill definately finish this one. my last productions imo were ammm... shit. lol. but that was down to software i used.

retiro: i guess its just down to style whether you like or not. i wanted to create someting unique so the stop, start thing going on is the build up of the tune progressing. some ppl like the kick and others dont. cant really think of what to do with it but il eq it when im finished. ive only adjusted levels for that sample no eqing or mastering has been done. want to wait until i finish it.
