Martinez mixes Audiomatique Volume 1.0

Martinez, Copenhagen-based Martin Swanstein and owner of Out of Orbit Recordings (Triple-O), has put together Audiomatique's first ever mix album, featuring some of the best tracks to come from the label created as a playground for modern techno and house music by Steve Bug in 2004.

Sporting tracks including a Martinez edit of the track which propelled Trentemøller into the spotlight, "Physical Fraction" and a Trentemoller remix of Martinez's own "Shadowboxing", the 17-track mix also includes remixes and material from Rob Acid (aka Robert Babicz),Mark O‘Sullivan (DK7), John Dahlbäck and Robag Wruhme (Wighnomy Bros) with six tracks exclusively produced for the album by Martinez, Adultnapper, Alexi Delano & Fernando Gullon, Huggotron (aka John Dahlbäck) and newcomers Faktor-X and CDjjj.

From the bedazzled sitar sounds of Trentemøller‘s "Prana“ to the acid techno of Robert Babicz and Jussi-Pekka and the future techno of Huggotron, the mix has been described as one that is 'highly dynamic and beams you right into the middle of an advanced dancefloor'.

The CD will be preceded by two separate 12 inches, Audiomatique Volume 1.1 and Audiomatique Volume 1.2, each including three of the 6 exclusive tracks and released January 16th and February 6th respectively.

The digital edition will include the full and unmixed versions of all seventeen tracks and will be available from stores like iTunes, Beatport and Conzoom.

Martinez is a good producer.. I enjoy his tracks, however I haven't heard one that was truly *great*

Dunno about his dj'ing. This tracklist looks... "safe". Loads of tracks from quality, well-known artists. Will wait for the CD to give an opinion.

just listened to this and i have to say its not THAT good. Its nice though, very minimal.

But it takes till Rykketid to really get a little more banging...
The first 55 minutes dont seem to go any where, which is a shame. There are no bad tracks on it in the first 55 minutes but also no real gems.
Its lacking great flow and energy buildup imo...

From Rykketid till the end is very solid though with a great trentemoller remix of shadowboxing and the last track is also a real gem
