Muscle car fans rejoice! '07 Dodge Challenger.

I'll briefly sum up the happy things about this.

- Two door, LX-chassis RWD vehicle.
- Shortened wheelbase from 120" to 116"
- Classic styling: DCX's design studios designed the Challenger to look like a Challenger with long nose, short tail and LONG OVERHANGS
- Preservation of details: rectangular exhaust, working hood scoops, etc.
- POWER: 425 hp HEMI V8, 6.1 L.
- Gearbox: 6-Speed Manual Pistol-Grip style.

Happy.

I'm hearing production in 2007, only V8s, and with 5-10k produced a year.

Instant classic, no doubt?

I find it kinda sad how the American car makers have run out of ideas for new cars, and keep comming out with these 60/70s retro designs. Meanwhile Jap and Euro cars just keep getting better .

Looks cool to start. However like many other US retro cars, it will be too expensive for it to sell well. However, Chrysler has done well in the past few years, expecially since getting taken over by Daimler Benz, so the initial quality will probably be pretty good. However, the interior design of domestics still lacks the quality appearance. The gas prices will unfortunately kill the interest of many people for this car. And by the time DC introduces a V6 version, many people will consider it no good without the V8.
