yo waddup guys i just bought some used mk2's about 3 weeks ago and when i get enough money i want to start recording my mixes. Im completely lost when it comes to recording. i obviously have a computer but i cant take this into my room or anything so what would be a good pc or laptop to buy for a good price mabey like 400 to 600 if possible? what program would i need on the computer and what cables would i need to hook it up. thanks alot.

why dont u just run a cable from your computer from where your decks are, is it far? i have about 5 cables run through a hole in the wall between my study/room.

lol ya it is pretty far actualy i dont think my mom will want cables going from my room to the computer lol and besides this computer is slow as shit and i cant put any programs on it without it blowing up... i have windows 98...
